Description Technical Specs

If you're targeting inshore predators like redfish, snook, trout, croaker, sheepshead, and flounder, having the right lure on hand is the difference between a slow day and a trophy catch. The Marker 54 Shrimplets are meticulously designed, downsized versions of the trusted Marker 54 Glide Shrimp, offering a lifelike shrimp presentation that's ideal when fish are keyed in on smaller bait. Whether you're casting under dock lights or working shallow flats, these pre-rigged, UV-enhanced soft baits are built to deliver results across a wide range of conditions. Designed for use with a popping cork and an 18 to 24-inch leader, the Shrimplets come in the water with just a few subtle pops every 3–5 Mississippi. That natural action, combined with the shrimp's silhouette, is irresistible to inshore gamefish. The Marker 54 Shrimplet isn't just another lure; it's a purpose-built tool engineered for anglers who demand realistic presentations, reliable hooksets, and results when it matters most. From dock lights to shallow flats, early mornings to last casts, Shrimplets help you connect with more fish and better fishing days.
Features
  • UV Glow: Enhances visibility
  • Compact and Versatile Size: Measuring only 2.5" and weighing 1/8 ounce, the Shrimplet is ideal for a light tackle setup under dock lights or in shallow water. Perfect for early-season use when baitfish are small and gamefish are focused on bitesized meals.
  • Lifelike Profile and Movement: With oversized 3D eyes and a hyper-realistic body design, the Shrimplet mimics the subtle flutter and darting motion of a shrimp, triggering predatory instincts in inshore species like redfish, snook, and speckled trout.
  • Pre-Rigged with Carbon Steel Hook: Comes ready to fish with a premium 1/0 carbon steel hook embedded for secure hookups. This sharp hook ensures durability and reliable hooksets on hard-thumping strikes and tough inshore battles.
  • Premium TPE Material: Constructed from stretchable, tear-resistant TPE plastic, the Shrimplet offers soft yet tough action that mimics real prey and stands up to repeated attacks from aggressive fish without losing form, action, or fish-catching power.

5 of 5 Slade, the speckled trout! May 29, 2025

I purchased Shimplets and Jerk Shimp. Your product is outstanding! Absolutely hammered the speckled in Hackberry Louisiana. Best plastic baits I’ve ever used. The barb on the Shimplets needs to be improved, because It’s too easy for the trout to spit it out! Highly recommend your product!!!

5 of 5 Shrimplet Review May 26, 2025

I first discovered the Shrimplet on a S LA inshore charter. When I got back home to AL I ordered a couple of packs to try on a kayak trip to the FL panhandle. Fished them under a popping cork with much success. Managed to land around 30 trout and a few trash fish. Durability was excellent. Only used 3 baits the whole trip. Will definitely order again before my next trip.

5 of 5 Great Lure October 2, 2024
Reviewer: Louisiana Weekend Warrior from Cut Off, LA United States
This summer I discovered this brand from someone fishing the same spot and I immediately fell in love with this lure and its versatility: I was able to catch almost every saltwater species available from land: speckled trout, redfish, croaker, white trout, ladyfish, catfish and to my surprise a baby shark.  The only 2 flaws being:
1. The weighted hook sinking too deep into the plastic mold, the bottom side of the plastic cracks, exposing the lead after 2-3 fish and eventually the entire lure is ruined. Sometimes the bottom side of the plastic is already cracked in the package.
2. Bigger redfish easily bend the hook of the Shrimplet lure. For this problem, try the M54 Glide Shrimp
All together a solid 9.9 out of 10.
