I've been using Shrimplets in the bays behind Surfside Beach, Texas for a couple of years now. The smaller pattern works really well for specs. You'll catch'em as fast as you can throw it out there. They're also very durable. I once caught 20 trout in a row without damaging the lure.

I tied two on a tandem rig under a cork and caught another 7 speckled trout the same day I used the glide and caught a flounder
