Sand Eel Swimmer Cast - Retrieve - Set Hook -Repeat THE NEWLY DESIGNED SAND EEL SWIMMER -the speckled worm eel (AKA the shrimp eel). Both species are common on muddy and sandy bottoms of Texas bays and the nearshore waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Coasts. The juveniles of the species between 3 and 4 inches of length make excellent forage for reds and trout. Marker 54 has developed the Sand Eel Swimmer based off this commonly found bait species. MADE IN USA!
The lure has a very unique swimming action - a very small high frequency tail as opposed to the side to side wobble of a traditional paddle tail. This tail design and cylindrical body best represent a Sand Eels natural outline and swimming motions.
